Substitute and Auxiliary Application Process - If you would like to be considered for a substitute position, you may visit the Human Resources Office at 200 East Belt Line Road in DeSoto or call us at 972 223-6666 to have an application mailed to you. If you would like to be considered for a Child Nutrition or Plant Services position, you may visit the Service Center at 200 W. Parkerville Road in DeSoto.

When you first access our application system, you'll need to register for a user name and password.  Please keep this information in a safe place.

Types of Applications:
Teaching/Professional - Teachers, Diagnosticians, Speech Therapist, etc.
Administrative - Principals, Asst. Principals, Directors and Asst. Superintendents
Support Staff (General Application) - Secretarial, Clerical, and Teacher's Aides

NOTE: Only Teacher applicants will need to complete both the Teacher/Professional on-line application and the Gallup Teacher Insight Interview for the application process to be complete.

 
NOTE: Principal and Assistant Principal applicants will need to complete the Gallup Principal Insight Interview in addition to the Administrative application for the application process to be complete.

The following information must be uploaded and attached to all applications to complete the file.  We are requesting these documents at the time you submit your application.

 - Copy of your resume
 - Copy of transcripts from each college - Your transcript must show degree, date conferred, registrar's signature and official college seal
 - Copy of all valid teaching certifications and professional certificates
 - Copy of your driver's license and Social Security card
